RL with Kaitou - No Consequences Virus

[Yuri was sitting at home, reading a book. She was alone, her mother working at the station as usual, so the apartment was very quiet. It was business as usual, really. About the only thing out of the ordinary was that Yuri was reading a novel, rather than working on her homework as she normally would. This was about the extent of the virus's effect on her right now, as Yuri simply had no burning desire to go out an do... well, anything, really. But there was still plenty of time for that to change.

The doorbell rang. Yuri looked up from her book in surprise. This was new. Her mother should have keys with her and Momoka would call first. She couldn't remember the last time someone showed up out of the blue. Curious, she put down her book, went over to the front door and gently opened it.]

Hey.

[Kaitou stood there, holding up a basket that was festooned with decorative eggs and straw fluff.] I was around so I thought you might like this. Happy Easter and all.

[Yuri stared for a moment. She could definitely say she didn't see this coming.]

I... see. [No she didn't.] You were just 'around'? You sure stick around in this time a lot. [She shifted her eyes to the basket, because this was kind of weird. Weird and... sort of sweet, almost. Huh...] Oh... right, it's almost Easter on the community already, isn't it?

Just around. [Kaitou was being a little evasive, but he offered a little smile.]

And yeah it is. I just thought you'd like a little chocolate today.

[Yuri raised an eyebrow at that response, but decided to ignore it. It wasn't that important right now.]

Well... thank you, then. [This was kind of awkward, but Yuri accepted the basket anyway.] Do you want to come in?

[Naw it really wasn't, and Kaitou was fidgeting anyhow a little.]

Sure, thanks. I'd like to come in.

[Yuri stepped back and held the door open so Kaitou could enter. Once he was inside, she walked back in and placed the basket in the living room.]

I hope you've been keeping yourself out of trouble?

[of_many_treasures]

[Removing his shoes, he nodded as he headed inside, looking around for a moment before replying.]

I have. I've been on vacation as it were. So I've kept out of trouble.

[fightbymoonlight]

[Yuri smiled a little at that.] Oh? I'm surprised. I would've thought a vacation would be too boring for you.

Not that I'm complaining. It means I don't have to worry as much. [Yuri admitting she worries about Kaitou? How very un-tsun of her.]

I like vacations. I don't get many of them at all so it really helps when I get the chance to go on them. [A little defensive but hey, he liked his vacations.]

Are you worrying about me I take it?

I guess even you have to relax sometimes, huh?

Well, of course. You're my friend. It's only natural, isn't it?

Part of my job is relaxing at times. But I agree.

[He blinked and smirked a little.] First time I've heard you admit that to be honest.

I guess it is. It's not that big of a deal. [Or so she thinks right now.] I've admitted it to other people before.

It's just different admitting it to you. Kind of like how I don't admit to Tsubomi that I think of her as a friend. I'm just stubborn like that.

Well being stubborn and such can cause problems, but thanks anyhow. I guess I did the right thing giving you the chocolate basket today.

Hah, it's just the truth, but you're welcome. I really should admit it more often. It's not as difficult today. [Yuri doesn't even pause to question why that is, of course.]

Funny how things work. You and I aren't having trouble admitting anything today.

Yes, that's true. There's just something different about today. Things just don't seem like such a big deal. [For the briefest of moments, part of Yuri thinks that's really strange. But that part is quickly silenced, because she has more important things to think about.]

Maybe I should take advantage of that while I can.

Oh really? And what kind of thing were you thinking about doing then? [Honestly curious to be fair.]

Well, there's a few things I've been curious about. Let me think... [Yuri pauses and crosses her arms, really thinking about this. And then an idea pops into her head.] Oh, I know, there's something I've been wondering about.

[And before even she really knows what she's doing, Yuri's made her way over to Kaitou and kisses him. On the lips. Oh dear.]

Mmph! [Surprised at her action, Kaitou was frozen stiff for a long moment. But then he slowly began to relax and return the kiss gently.]

[Since she'd initiated the kiss without really thinking about it, Yuri only closes her eyes now. It's definitely nice. A lot nicer than she had expected. In fact, she is in no hurry to end the kiss and is just going to... hold it like this for a few moments more.

Clearly there is no way she'll ever regret this action.]

[Holding it there, his arm slipped around her waist and pulled her close for a moment, kissing her gently. He didn't want it to end either and his cheeks were red.]

[As Yuri's pulled closer, she turns red as well, but she doesn't stop the kiss. Instead, she instinctually puts her arms around Kaitou's shoulders, very gently.]

[Well this was a surprising turn of events. He continued to kiss her, her body feeling nice against him as he kissed her eagerly.]

[After another couple of moments, which she drags out as long as she can, Yuri finally pulls away a bit. She's clearly trying her best to look calm and normal, but the fact that her entire face is red kind of gives her away.

She's quiet, since really, what the hell are you supposed to say after that?]

[Likewise, Kaitou was breathing a little heavily. He hadn't been kissed like that in a long time, and his heart was racing. Blushing, he rubbed his neck, and remarked,] That was really nice...
